Java Software Development Workshop Terms and Conditions

Definitions

We’ and ‘us’ means Software Pulse who will provide the services. Software Pulse is the trading name for Java based materials provide by John McNeil

You’ means the student receiving the service.

Workshop‘ means a distance learning course or course designed and developed by us including all revisions and updates the workshop we might make from time to time.

Workshop materials’ means  the physical materials relating to any workshop, together with all revisions and updates made by us from time to time, which may be in any format and which are required by the student to complete the workshop.

Your Responsibilities

The workshop dates and times are published prior to you signing up to the workshop.  By signing up you agree to attend and actively participate in the live sessions.

You agree to undertake the workshop individual activities to the best of your ability and submit them for review by the agreed time.

You agree to complete a workshop assessment at the end of the workshop.

You agree that the assertions made on your application are accurate and a fair reflection of your abilities.

You agree to receive emails from us to keep you informed of

Cancellation

You are free to withdraw from the workshop at any time and we will refund your fee pro rata for those live sessions that you have not attended.

Privacy

See our privacy policy.  Basically, we do not share your information with any third party.  The exception is, if we are compelled to do so by law.

Queries and Complaints

If you have any queries or complaints regarding the workshop you can raise them by sending an email outlining your question to workshop1@softwarepulse.co.uk.  We will treat any query or complaint in an open manner; our aim is to have happy committed students. If the workshop is not working for you, we will work with you to address the issue.

Copyright

All of the workshop materials are the property of Software Pulse unless otherwise stated.  Any materials submitted by you as part of the workshop remain the property of the student.

Other Terms

You agree to allow video recording of live sessions and publication of these sessions for other purposes.  This includes any interaction between you and us during the live sessions.

Every workshop has a published timetable for each of the live sessions.  Whilst we make every endeavour to honour the published timetable, there may be occasions where we need to alter the stated dates and times.  Where this is the case, we will give you as much notice as possible.  You acknowledge that the dates and times of the live sessions may change from time to time.

We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the material we provide but from time to time there may be errors or omissions in the workshop material provided.  You are responsible for reviewing the workshop material and informing us of any oversights as soon as reasonably possible.
